Becca Keatinge, Graduate Professional Assistant for the Patriot Experience

This is Becca's third year as a graduate assistant for the Patriot Experience program. She has loved the opportunity to help develop this program and is passionate about helping undergraduate students succeed in all aspects of their higher education journey. Becca is currently working on her Masters in Strategic Communication and a Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies. Before coming to Mason in the fall of 2016, she worked for James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She also received her B.A. in Global Justice and Policy Studies from JMU in 2015. Becca's long-term goal is to work with companies in developing their communication strategies in order to affect social change. Becca hopes her career will take her all around the world and will be applying to work in Europe upon receiving her degree

 

 

Sammy Cozzolino, Graduate Professional Assistant for the Patriot Experience

Sammy is a new graduate assistant and new to Mason. She graduated from Radford University in May 2018 with a B.S. in Communication and Public Relations. While at Mason she will be pursuing her Masters degree in Higher Education. During her time at Radford, she worked as an Orientation Leader, University 100 Peer Instructor, and Resident Assistant. She hopes to pursue a career in student affairs, preferably within orientation and new student success. She is passionate about working with retention and helping students find success during their time in college.

Adrienne is responsible for implementing initiatives that are geared toward increasing student success and retention of the undergraduate student population at the institution. More specifically, she works with incoming freshmen, transfer students, and students at-risk of leaving the institution to help with their transition to Mason and provide support to help students be successful at the institution.  Adrienne is passionate about helping students be successful during their time in higher education.  She received her Masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University - Bloomington.  Adrienne recently received her Ph.D. in Education from Mason.
