Participants who choose to continue to Level 2 and 3 in the Career Readiness pathway have opportunities to develop the following 8 career readiness skills valued by employers:

Career Readiness Level 2 Curriculum

Required items:
      • Create an Industry Specific Resumé
      • Set-Up An Informational Interview With Someone Within Your (Potential) Major

Elective Items (choose 3):

  • Participate In A Practice Interview Through Practice Interview Day or with an Industry Advisor 
  • Participate in Student Employee Workshop Series 
  • Write A Personal Statement For Graduate School 
  • Enroll in UNIV 320, 420, or 421
  • Participate In Community Service or Volunteer For A Cause 
  • Obtain an On-Campus Job/Part-Time Job or Federal Work Study Position 
  • Obtain a Leadership Role In a Student/Academic Organization 
  • Participate in Take a Patriot To Work Day 
  • Participate in Alternative Spring Break /Mission Trip
  • Research (3) Career Options Related to Your Major 
  • Join An Academic Club Related To Your Major 
  • Enroll In UNIV 220
